If you've ever quietly asked yourself any of these questions, you're not alone.

  • Why do I keep struggling?

  • Why can't I seem to overcome the same temptation?

  • Is God tired of forgiving me?

  • Can I really change?

  • Is there still hope for me?

Returning To God is an encouraging companion booklet based on Psalm 51, David's prayer of repentance after one of the darkest moments of his life. Rather than leaving readers with guilt or condemnation, it explains why believers struggle, how temptation works, and how God patiently restores those who sincerely return to Him.

Through simple, practical teaching and a warm conversational style, this booklet points readers away from self-effort and back to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  If your heart still desires God, that desire itself is evidence that He is still calling you.

Why I wrote this book:

After many years of teaching the Bible, I've met sincere Christians who love the Lord but quietly struggle with temptation, discouragement, and repeated failure. Many have told me they feel as though no one understands what they're going through.

I wrote Returning To God to remind those believers that God's mercy is greater than their failures and that there is real hope for anyone who sincerely desires to walk closely with Him again.
